about the workshop:
In Walk and Talk we will do just that - use walking and talking to create movement phrases and theatrical scenes. By layering these phrases and scenes with patterns and tasks, we enter an examination of both their virtuosic and empathetic nature. This nature is the phenomena where Artistic Director of the feather theory, Raja Feather Kelly, finds the synthesis to create dance-theater or his theory of 'how people come together and how they fall apart'.
