On the 45th Anniversary of Dog Day Afternoon,

Raja Feather Kelly and the feath3r theory hosts a watch party of 1975 crime drama Dog Day Afternoon. The company continues to find ways to remind (or reveal to) audiences that the film is based on a true story, a real life, and a real person. The watch party included a video-essay about their research in the creation of this work and concluded with an interview with actor Chris Sarandon, who played the role of Leon based on Eden in Dog Day Afternoon. Kelly and theory intend to conduct more interviews with prominent figures in the LGBTQ+ community addressing representation and creative story-telling. Additionally the company will build community with live and recorded virtual events, interviews, links, resources, and a platform for exploring the themes and experiences depicted and lived though in the search for self in popular culture and their production of WEDNESDAY.
